Denny Pies

So my future pie business venture took me by surprise. 

I always loved mama's sweet potato pies growing up as she would make them every Thanksgiving and Christmas. 

She continued this tradition as I grew well into adulthood. But her pies were so good, I just couldn't wait every holiday season to taste them. After constant persistence, she told me that I should learn how to bake. So I did!

After years of baking for myself, a potluck dinner at work encouraged me to start baking for others. First came coworkers, then came friends, then family members and neighbors. 

Word spread and the demand just kept growing, but I just couldn't continue to bake for free. 

So this holiday season, I'll be starting a small business (details coming soon) and selling to clients in the tri-state area. Maybe I'll ship a few too!  I've now added pecan pie as well.

My BFF Robin loves my pies as she has bought a few. Don't trust her though, purchase one and see for yourself!
